Query must be in the body of the email, no attachments.  It should be no more than one page in length (black, double spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman, or Courier New).  Include the genre and word count (preferably in the first paragraph).  Include any pertinent information, e.g., contact info, awards, publications, organization affiliations.  For a faster response, include the first chapter of your story at the end of your query.
