Send a brief email or letter about your book: include the genre, a summary or synopsis, and the word count. Also include a little information about yourself and your writing background.
For fiction: Include the first few pages or the opening chapter of your novel. For email, send the first pages or the first chapter as a single Word attachment.
For nonfiction: Send your book proposal. For email, send the proposal as a single Word attachment. See the agency's submission guidelines for elements of a good proposal.
If she does not respond within two weeks, she is "happy to have a reminder."
